Locally-based company InterOpera is returning to the Museum with their increasingly popular blend of high-quality solo singers, brass band and chorus, with a programme of popular operatic favourites that will have the audience (literally) singing along.
Following two sell-out concerts in previous years, the Teesdale-based company has compiled a programme including The Pearl Fishers’ Duet, The Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves and Toreador, as well as the ever popular Nessun Dorma.
This year the company has teamed up with Felling Brass Band – North of England Champions in 2012, and Newcastle-based soloists Austin Gunn (tenor) and Heather Burns (mezzo), as well as regular InterOpera performers Penelope Randall-Davis (soprano) and Roderick Earle (baritone).
Tickets are selling fast and the organisation is predicting another sell-out. Tickets are available from The Bowes Museum or NeST Gallery in Newgate, Barnard Castle, or for further details and enquiries about dinner options please call Jill Cole on 07802 603008.
Opera soloists and a choir will be accompanied by a brass band at this indoor event in the picture gallery. Tickets from Jill Cole on 07802 603008 or in person from Nest, Barnard Castle.
