Catwalking tubes up for grabs

Get your own piece of the Catwalking exhibition As we take down and dismantle the hugely successful Catwalking exhibition The Bowes Museum is giving people the chance to get their hands on a piece of the display.


The cardboard tubes that made up the paper runway in the show are being offered free of charge to schools, groups and individuals to recycle.

If you have an old cherished fabric toy or favourite piece of clothing then The Bowes Museum would love you to get in touch.

Our Textile Conservator is holding sessions to learn more about the items that matter to people and will be able to give advice on how to look after them to ensure their longevity.

Catch CATWALKING while you can!

Come and see our fantastic CATWALKING: Fashion through the Lens of Chris Moore exhibition before it closes on 6 January.

Featuring more than 200 original photographs alongside over 40 of the outfits featured in the shots by designers ranging from Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen and Chanel to Jean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood.
