Stunning Yves Saint Laurent suit won by The Bowes Museum

The Bowes Museum is delighted to announce it has successfully won an Yves Saint Laurent suit owned by the actress Catherine Deneuve at auction in Paris.

The Museum, which hosted the globally critically acclaimed Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal in 2015, will add the tuxedo style suit to a capsule collection of French Haute Couture it believes it's founder Josephine Bowes would have worn if she was alive today.

Like Catherine Deneuve she was a French actress renowned for her exquisite taste.
