The Bowes Museum is delighted to announce that Hannah Fox has been appointed to take up the role of Director in May 2022.

The Trustees appointed Saxton Bampfylde, an executive search company, who conducted an international search for the new Director. After a series of intensive interviews with impressive

candidates the Trustees, supported by Arts Council England and Durham County Council, were extremely pleased to appoint Hannah.

With kids crafts, tours and a family whodunit fun day there's something for everyone of all ages to enjoy at the Barnard Castle based Museum.

 

There are lots of exciting and creative events planned to accompany the Regeneration exhibition by the international award winning artist Martin Kinnear at The Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle.

From live online talks from his studio in Wensley, to lunch with the artist and a guided tour of the exhibition with him to the creation of an Easter trail inspired by his paintings, there really is something for everyone to enjoy in the coming weeks.

Regeneration is open until 25 April 2022 and is a powerful and moving take on the COVID pandemic.  It is about doubt and loss, beauty and hope and the life affirming power of change.
