The Bowes Museum is delighted to announce that its new outdoor classroom will welcome its first visitors on Saturday 14th of August.
The open sided wooden structure can hold 30 children and will be used by the Museum's education and events departments for activities and workshops in the grounds.
Made from sustainable robinia wood, the £22,000 structure has been made possible thanks to the second round of the government’s Culture Recovery Fund, which was administered by Arts Council England.
