SOLD! The Great British Antiques Story to be opened by Lennox Cato

26 January until 5 May

The Bowes Museum is delighted to announce that SOLD! The Great British Antiques Story will be officially opened by the TV presenter and antique dealer Lennox Cato.

This pioneering exhibition shows for the first time the link between the art market and museums, taking visitors on a journey through 200 years of antique dealing, with a replica of an 1850's antique shop complete with items that would have been for sale at that time and 33 specially chosen objects that have fascinating histories to tell.
