Bouts Art Competition for Young People


 

To celebrate this magnificent painting we are launching an art competition for young people aged 13 – 25 years old:

To take part: Get creative! Taking inspiration from this painting, choose from one of the themes below to create your own Artwork:

  1. Interior fantasy space
  2. Portrait through objects
  3. Imagined landscapes
  • There will be 3 online workshops; one a week delivered by Artists on The Bowes Museum website to inspire you with ideas for how you could respond to each theme.

  •  Entries to the competition will be displayed on The Bowes Museum website.

 The 9 winning entries will have their artwork displayed in, or in the grounds of The Bowes Museum at a date to be announced.

Competition Opens: 5 June 2020
Competition Closes: 30 June 2020
