Safety advice is prominent throughout the Museum. There will be separate entry and exit doors - our revolving door will not be in use. We have already deep cleaned the Museum and have an intensive cleaning regime for touch points, there are also numerous hand sanitisation stations and we will be using contactless payment.
Toilets for Café Bowes can be found on the ground floor and for the Museum on the first floor. Additional portable toilets can be found at the rear of the Museum.
The lift is only to be used by single households needing help to access the upper floors of the Museum.
Please follow the safety measures we have put in place, use the hand sanitiser provided and maintain a social distance from other visitors and staff. We are fortunate to have large galleries that make social distancing possible and we have a one-way system in place for the Norman Cornish exhibition.
