Once upon a Textile

26 January, 10.00 - 1.00, 2.00 - 4.00

Once upon a Textile

Once upon a time, there was you, your textile and your story. From Granny’s old teddy to your child’s christening robe, textiles hold memories for us all. We’d like to meet you and learn about the textiles that are important to you, and record your special stories about them. So please bring along your cherished textile to this relaxed and informal story sharing day and tell us all about it.

Sessions are an hour long, during which time your stories will be filmed and our textile conservator Cecilia will advise you how to preserve your textile for the future.
