An opportunity for a rare, behind the scenes, guided tour of Medieval Raby Castle (built between 1367 and 1390) and visit rooms not usually on view to the public. Following light refreshments in the great hall the tour will take in the state apartments where the Prince of Wales, later Edward VII, stayed on his visit to the castle. Afterwards, guests of the tour are free to wander around the castle and visit the gardens and two-hundred-acre deer park.

The Museum’s Director, Adrian Jenkins, explored the story behind the picture created during a monumental moment in Goya’s life.
